FBC BRYAN CHILDREN’S THEMING AND REMODEL

The initial consulting with FBC Bryan in 2016 developed into a large theming and remodel project of their children’s ministry area. The physical part of the project began in 2017 and is ongoing. The project goal is to create a forest, treehouse, and meadow theme in their existing children’s ministry areas of approximately 25,000 SF. We have created, built and installed indoor tree and treehouse facades, a custom spiral tube slide, custom image vinyl and carpet flooring, custom wall images, custom room signs, painted wall boards, and painting.

ATRIUM

The trees and treehouse are a free-standing steel structure with a wood, foam, and synthetic bark wrap. The bark surface is very durable and feels like a hard rubber. The wall images are custom vinyl realistic images. The flooring in the atrium is a custom high definition image vinyl. The wall and flooring images throughout the project are designed to appear as continuous images. There are hidden animals and items in all the wall and flooring images that are readily accessible to the children. There is a sign in the atrium displaying the 60 hidden atrium items. Some items are very easy to find and others are more difficult.

STAIRWAY CORRIDOR

A slide was installed in the elevator shaft with a tree trunk built around the upstairs entry and downstairs exit. All of the flooring in this area is a custom image carpet. There are animals and items hidden in all the images.

CLASSROOM HALLWAYS

The flooring is a custom image carpet with hidden items. Custom animal and name signs were installed for each classroom. New lighting and classroom images are planned for the future.
